Transition Coordinator – Suffolk

Lauren brings over 15 years of experience in special education, with expertise in vocational services, IEP development, and the design and delivery of school-based transition programs. Her work blends teaching, staff supervision, and student support, with a focus on tailoring vocational curricula to meet the diverse needs of learners.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Arts and a Master’s degree in Literacy in the Content Areas. Passionate about hands-on, experiential learning, she encourages students in special education to build on their strengths, develop new skills through real-world experiences, and navigate their vocational journeys with confidence.
