CEO provides services to at-risk youth in the Towns of: Oyster Bay, North Hempstead, andthe city of Glen Cove. The program focuses on high school dropout prevention, work-readiness skills, and aiding students in applying for post-secondary education or securing good entry-level employment.
To be eligible, students must be from a family with low income and meet another need as identified in the grant:
Students receive up to 120 hours of paid employment during the Summer that will align with the student’s unique career interests and vocational goals.
Students participate in weekly career readiness instruction with a school certified Career Consultant. This program is sponsor funded by Department of Labor designed to provide all students with work readiness skills.
